Portrait 16: The Komondor

I was on the way back to trail when I met this pup in Steamboat Springs. He is a Komondor, also called a Hungarian Sheepdog. He sat very happily while I spoke with his human for a while. His dreads are completely natural and really soft, and he very much enjoys having his head rubbed. The Komondor breed has been declared one of Hungary’s national treasures and it’s easy to see why.

The Komondor is the goodest of boys!
