Behind a discrete metal door, there's a small compartment hiding a notebook and a few pens. It's common for thru hikers to sign and date the journals as they get farther up the trail. I've never seen a trail log anywhere near this full.

I know that almost everyone will quit. I know that I may fail. But for now, it’s time for me to start working toward achieving this dream.
