
In 2020, I began hiking north from the Mexican border. After seven months and 2650 miles, I reached the Canadian border. I hiked through the heat of the Mojave and blizzards of the North Cascades. I encountered black bears and mountain lions. I found pristine lakes, I found untouched meadows, and I found roaring waterfalls.
But mostly, I found myself.
